• Looking at new opportunities & ideas that supermarkets can benefit from

One of my main passions is innovation & ideas. I am fascinated on how problems, culture, human behaviour translates into business & products.

For example, from one perspective we have the smart phone because of our strong need to communicate. – When I was a child my father use to say a proverb to me when I was struggling with solving problems. He said “Necessity is the mother of invention

In this post I will explore 3 main ideas after analysing what supermarkets are doing and how they can innovate.

    • WFH – FoodBoxes
    • FoodIQ – Smart Food Choices
    • Social Media – Online behaviour with regards to recipes & foodboxes

Some of the problems that I see is the array of choices we have in a supermarket and our unbalanced diets.

I’m interested on how we can leverage data & social influence by creating a valuable user experience that can help us make more balanced food choices, especially considering the recent state of public health.

  • Passion for Cars

I love cars, for me a car means status, identity, freedom, fun. My car is just my zone, my private space. I personally own a performance car which I love driving everyday. But this is just my own passion for cars. In this post i’ll look to explore what cars mean to me and how it’s an expression of so much more than just a transport device.

“Computers are like a bicycles for our minds”

In a interview, Steve jobs said computing is an extension for the mind. Computing gives us ability to be more efficient, empowering ideas, processes & tasks that go on within us and around us. Too me vehicles are an extension of our physicality. Now combined with computing & integration with our social, transport and digital infrastructure, it’s a representation of us to a whole different level.

  • Jaguar Landrover Dev Challenge 2016

I’ve never really been to hackathons. The first time I heard of one was on the Facebook movie. The social network. So I thought it would be something like this lol

Not as intense but the atmosphere was great. Spending 2 nights and 2 days with the Jaguar and Land rover engineering teams and lots of passionate people that are in to car tech and just innovation was amazing. The atmosphere was collaborative and relaxed. The challenge was around connected car technologies and the innovation and change that is happening around this. From car to car communication, to self driving cars to different ways to share cars.

We pretty much lived on 4 hours sleep from Friday night to Sunday night. Worked intensely and had some great ideas. I made some really good friends. Check out the pictures

  • Car Club Systems at a Glance

Car Clubs are a car sharing businesses that focuses on unattended pay as you go car hire. Car Clubs makes things more convenient for people to hire, as the vehicles are easily & quickly accessible. This is all empowered by the telematics & reservation infrastructure.

Typically, the vehicle is booked out and returned to the pickup location. The vehicle can be reserved at any time and the usual minimum reservation length is 30 minutes (dependent on availability). The member is billed on time and distance for the hire.

Cars are normally found at city centres at on street parking bays and/or private car parks. To hire the vehicle, it is mandatory to open an account and become a member of the car club. Read More

  • Bright Ideas

    Great ideas

It seems to me imagination is the easy part, especially as we live in such a mindful time. We seem to have more opportunity to think and reflect, we don’t have to worry about basic survival as we have a society and the infrastructure built to provide us with the basic needs & security in this part of the world. This means we have more thoughts and more ideas on how things should be or what things could work. It might be a idea of the next Mark Zuckerberg style dot com billion pound company or something to solve the global pollution issues. But a good idea often means nothing without the execution.
